Kick-Off Potluck Dinner! May 17, 2025
The Rose Garden Gala Annual UUSD Auction will kick off with a potluck dinner on May 17th. Dress in your finest and festive garb, and create that one-of-a-kind hat for this special event. RSVP and sign-up to bring a dish at UUSDCares@uussd.org
We need your help for our Annual Auction, UUSD’s largest FUNdraiser of the year!
What to Donate!
Dessert and cards night, a picnic at a local park, a theme party for a holiday, a dinner and/or party at your home, or a movie night. You could offer an outdoor activity, such as canoeing, biking, or hiking. Another idea would be to share a skill in-person or online, such as how to knit or crochet, jewelry making, yoga, and woodworking. Trips might also be offered to auction! Perhaps a weekend at an apartment or condo you may own for a weekend in Philly or a week at Disney in Florida!
How to Donate!
Donation forms are available here and at UUSD. Please complete all areas of the form and return the completed form in one of three easy ways: (1) In-person at UUSD; (2) By email to auction@uussd.org; or (3) via postal mail to UUSD, 30486 Lewes Georgetown Hwy., Lewes, DE 19958, marked attention: Barbara Barnette or Adam Emel-Firestone.
We also need help collecting business donations. Please contact us so we can assist you in this matter.
MATCHING FUNDS OPPORTUNITY!
Matching Funds are another way for members and friends to support UUSD’s Annual Auction and help to make our biggest fundraiser a success! Some folks choose to match funds because they may not be able or want to provide an auction offering; they may be out of town during the auction; they may not like to bid but want to support this important fundraiser. And many folks bid in the auction and also do Matching Funds!
HOW it works: Match a percentage of the auction’s proceedings. Match at any percentage or cap your donation not to exceed a certain amount. Don’t want to match? You can also simply donate a given amount of your choosing.
