Any UUSD member or friend who wishes to learn more about UUSD’s social and environmental justice work is welcome to attend the Social and Environmental Justice (S&EJ) Committee meeting (no commitment required). Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at UUSD from 3:00-5:00 pm. Please contact Susan Goekler for more information.
As part of our monthly Social & Environmental Justice Committee meetings, we have started to use a video series created by the Seattle Times that is a UUA recommended resource for addressing racism. We invite anyone interested to join us for the first half hour of our meetings to participate in this opportunity (and to stay, if you wish, for the business meeting).
