Rise Against Hunger Food Packing Event

On Saturday, March 14, 2026 – Once again, UUSD members and friends as well as our children and youth participated in the Rise Against Hunger food packaging event at Sussex Central High. The morning group of volunteers packaged 53,000 meals in three hours! Additional UUSDers and children helped out with the afternoon packing session, supporting the effort to provide fortified, dehydrated, shelf-stable meals to areas of the world identified as food insecure. Thank you to all UUSDers who participated and made difference in impacting the nutritional needs of many people throughout the world.
